A Fresh Start
Rebranding is never just about changing the name. It's about stepping back, reassessing, and choosing a different path forward. After years of focusing narrowly on software development, I wanted something broader.
This space is a nod to one of my longtime passions, the Myst series. Those who've explored the Ages know that each one tells a story, preserving moments, mysteries, and entire worlds within its pages. That resonated with me as I thought about what I wanted this to be.
For years, my online presence has been narrowly focused on software development. And while I still work with Laravel, React, and other technologies, I didn't want to be defined solely by code anymore. There are other things I care about: photography, gaming, travel, and the art of storytelling itself.
Written Ages is where all of that comes together. A small web presence for:
- The games and worlds that shaped my creative thinking
- Photography from travels and everyday moments
- Occasional technical notes when something's worth sharing
- Exploration, both digital and physical
- Whatever else catches my attention along the way
